We left The Lake Palace Hotel in Udaipur. It was a fabulous hotel. We may have a new favorite hotel! We wanted to stay there, but had heard that the rooms were small. We also worried about being trapped there and needing to take a boat every time we wanted to leave the hotel. Turns out they upgraded us to a large and beautiful suite and the boat ride was fun. We will definitely return!

We flew down to Mumbai and checked into the Taj Palace, our home away from home. They had upgraded us to a room I didn’t like, and after I made my feelings clear, we got a much better room. They knew it was our anniversary coming up (Feb. 2^nd) and they had filled the room with red balloons. Nice touch!

We did some shopping and then read while sitting around the pool. After cocktails on to Trishna our favorite Indian seafood restaurant then returned to the Taj for Cognac and chocolates before going to bed.
