We left Jaipur saying goodbye to the wonderful Rambagh Palace. We had a 3 hour drive to Shahpura Bagh. We stayed here last year. It is kind of like a Napa Valley resort, but run by the family who that originally ruled here. It is very low key, not pretensions. The family is very warm. We basically loafed around the pool, reading and kibitzing. They had prepared a wonderful chocolate welcome back cake for us.

Somehow, despite the best of precautions, I as I seem to do on every trip to India have a mild case of Delhi Belly. Using the best of Western Medicine (Cipro) and the best of Indian traditional medicine (eating Kitchari made from rice and lentils), I hope to be better tomorrow. When we slipped into bed, we were surprised to find hot water bottles awaiting us, to keep us nice and warm. What a good idea!
Late breaking news. It is now morning and the treatments worked. I am back in working order!
